"This area is part of Eleko development belt, which means it's attracting planned estates, private infrastructure, and top-tier investors. The roads are being expanded, access improved, and government interest heightened."

The Eleko Infrastructure:
What's Special?
In May 2025, President Tinubu commissioned the first 30 km stretch of the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, from Ahmadu Bello Way to Eleko Village on the Lekki Peninsula. This newly built six-lane dual carriageway is designed to significantly uplift connectivity, commerce, and mobility along the coastline.
The Lagos State Government, led by Governor Sanwo-Olu, started expanding the Eleko Junction to Epe T-Junction corridor into a six-lane rigid pavement road (approx. 18.7 km). As of recent updates, sections of this heavily trafficked route have been resurfaced, with complete road markings, drainage systems, pedestrian walkways, and dedicated truck lanes.
Multiple infrastructure updates from early to mid‑2025 highlight active reconstruction of the Eleko Beach Road and internal access lanes, showing progress on surfaced roads, drainage, and street lighting.
In July 2025, the federal government confirmed a $747 million loan to accelerate construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, with Section 1 (Ahmadu Bello to Eleko) already funded and underway.
